We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our guests who come and enjoy our links and facilities. In this section you can see information regarding our designated Visitor Tee Times, Green Fee Rates, and General Visitor Information.

 

Please note Portmarnock Golf Club is a walking course. In order to protect the links ground and ensure it is maintained to the highest standards, Buggies are not available for visitors to use. Buggies are reserved for Members only based on very strict requirements and adherence to club rules which ensures the protection of the course.

Standard Green Fee Rates
All Green Fee rates are subject to availability and exclude Wednesday and Saturday which are member exclusive.
18 Holes Championship Course: €300

27 Hole Rate: €350

36 Hole Rate: €450

Winter Rate (November 1st to March 31st): €275
*Please note that we don't guarantee the full Championship Course during the off season as our three nines are rotated to carry out necessary course maintenance.

General Visitor Information
Buggy Hire
Portmarnock Golf Club is a walking course. In order to protect the links ground and ensure it is maintained to the highest standards, Buggies are not available for visitors to use. Buggies are reserved for Members only based on very strict requirements and adherence to club rules which ensures the protection of the course.
Mobile Phones
Not allowed on the Links other than for members of the medical profession on call. Please switch off in Clubhouse. Discreet use is permitted in the car park only.
Dress Code
Smart casual attire is essential on the Links and in the Clubhouse. Denims, tracksuits, vest type tee shirts are not acceptable. Collared sports shirts and tailored shorts only with white socks above ankle height are permitted on the links but not the dining areas. The wearing of headwear including visors is not permitted in the clubhouse. Jacket is required in the Members’ Bar and the main dining room.
Golf Shoes
Must be worn on the links and within the clubhouse are permitted in the locker room areas only. Ordinary footwear only is allowed in bar and dining areas.
Care of the Links
Please replace divots. The use of seeded/sand from bags to fill divot marks is compulsory. Please take a black bag from the rack at the starting tee before commencing play and use as required during your round. Rake all bunkers after play and replace rakes outside bunkers at front left or right.
Slow Play
Please avoid slow play at all times. Play ready golf and ensure that you keep up with the group in front throughout. We use Tagmarshal GPS to track pace of play. Should you fall behind pace, our ranger will ask you to speed up or move ahead to catch up with acceptable pace of play.
